Pilates
We pride ourselves on delivering classes for all ages and abilities, no one is left behind in our classes, we share our passion of Pilates in every class that we teach and create a sense of community and belonging. We would love for you to join our BYB Pilates family!
These classes have been a lifeline over the last 12 months for many of our customers, they provide routine, a connection to the outside world and the advantage of attending classes in the comfort of your own home!
Pilates is a low impact exercise that is suitable for all ages, fitness and mobility levels. Sessions can be tailored to all circumstances and intensities; making it ideal for those enduring pregnancy or recovering from injury. Frequently attendees are hesitant due to believing that classes are too strenuous and they will further contribute to their discomfort - this could not be further from the truth when it comes to Pilates. The phrase “use it or lose it” holds true; without working to strengthen your body and improve mobility, you are likely to make your injury far worse.
Pilates can be used to tone and strengthen muscles, improve mobility, flexibility, balance, coordination and awareness, rehabilitate injury and improve overall mental and physical wellbeing. Pilates will help you to move and feel better; the improvements classes can make on your body are seemingly endless. Should you wish to develop into your superior form, Back Your Body, specialists of Pilates in Sidcup, is the studio for you.
